Wimbledon 2026 — Day 8 (Manic Monday)

Monday 6 July 2026, 10:00All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, London3-night stay
Why this event

If you want the most tennis for one ticket, Manic Monday is unmatched. Eight Round-of-16 matches in one day. Show-court ticket holders get up to three matches; Ground Pass holders can court-hop through six or seven.

'Manic Monday' is the most iconic non-final day at Wimbledon. Historically (pre-2022) it featured ALL 16 Round-of-16 matches on a single day — the maddest, most match-packed day in tennis. Now the format is more spread, but Day 8 still delivers the second half of the Round of 16 with eight elite-level matches across the four main courts. Every match is a potential classic, every player still alive is a contender.

Highlights

  • Eight Round-of-16 matches — 'Manic Monday' tradition
  • Most tennis per ticket of any day in the calendar
  • Centre Court typically hosts top men's & women's seeds back-to-back
  • Last chance to court-hop before quarter-finals

Dress code

Smart casual is recommended for the grounds — chinos, dresses, smart shorts, polos all welcome. Gentlemen must wear jackets in the Royal Box, the Debenture Holders Lounge, and most Centre Court hospitality areas (no jeans, no replica football shirts, no sportswear). Wimbledon's famous all-white rule applies only to competitors, not spectators. Comfortable shoes are essential — the grounds cover over 42 acres.

Venue rules

  • No glass containers over 250ml (one bottle of wine or champagne per person permitted)
  • No professional photography equipment (lenses over 30cm)
  • No flagpoles, banners, or anything that could obstruct other spectators
  • No drones
  • Smoking and vaping permitted in designated areas only
  • Children under 5 years old not admitted to Centre Court

What past guests say

FanVoyage made our Wimbledon dream effortless — the seats were incredible and the hotel was a 10-minute walk from the gates. Already booking for next year.

Sarah J.

Manchester, UK

Centre Court Debenture seats with a hotel in Knightsbridge. The whole trip felt like royalty. The Pimms in the lounge alone was worth it.

Marco D.

Milan, Italy

Flew in for the Women's Final. FanVoyage handled everything — tickets, hotel, even a black cab on Saturday morning. Just brilliant.

Frequently asked

What time should I arrive?

The grounds open at 10:30. We recommend arriving by 11:30 to enjoy the atmosphere, get refreshments, and find your court before play starts. On final days, arrive earlier for security and ceremony viewing.

What is the dress code?

Smart casual for the grounds. The Royal Box and Debenture areas require jackets for gentlemen (no jeans or sportswear). Players wear all-white — a tradition strictly enforced for competitors but not for spectators.

Can I bring food and drink?

Yes, you may bring your own food and one bottle of wine or champagne, or two cans of beer per person. Glassware over 250ml is not permitted. Strawberries and cream from the on-site stands are a must-try.

What if it rains?

Centre Court and Court 1 both have retractable roofs — play continues. Outer courts pause and resume after rain stops; if your reserved match is cancelled, you may be entitled to a refund per AELTC's published rain policy.

Is there transport to the venue?

Closest tube: Southfields (District Line, 15-min walk) or Wimbledon (10-min walk + free shuttle). London Underground runs frequently. Taxis and Uber are available; pre-booked transfers are included in our packages.

Can I move between courts?

With a Ground Pass you have access to all outer courts (Court 2 onwards) on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserved Centre Court / Court 1 tickets give you that specific court only.

What's included in my package?

Match tickets at your chosen tier, hand-picked hotel close to Wimbledon or Central London, breakfast options at most properties, dedicated FanVoyage concierge, and a printed information pack on arrival.

Can I get a refund if a specific player is eliminated early?

Tickets are for the match scheduled on your court, not a specific player. Players are seeded into matches based on the previous day's results. Refunds are not available for changes in line-up.
